Did you know over 250 people were killed at railroad crossings in the US in 2024? It’s true! (Texas had the most with 81 deaths.)
While stats are not broken down between types of crossings, I can tell you one thing.
When Ashford is behind me when I am safely stopped a rural crossing and practically rear-ends me because hey, why should I be stopped?
And then he rages on me using his horn and vocal cords despite the fact that a local train is coming and there is a flagman coming down the tracks to stop traffic!
